Our trip to Ireland was fantastic!!! Our stay at Dromoland Castle was the highlight of our trip and the carriage ride is a must. We were also very lucky and enjoyed beautiful sunshine most of the week. Prepare for a long day 5 when traveling from Cork to Dublin, via Waterford and a visit to the Emigrants Museum and dinner.
Most Memorable Moment:
Along with Domoloand Castle, The Cliffs of Moher are a must and again we enjoyed good weather to appreciate the awesome views. The tour of Waterford, Blarney Castle, Trinity College and Glendalough Ruins are incredibly interesting and a must see. Enjoyed our free time in pubs testing great Irish Ales.
All accommodations were top notch, I especially liked the Trump Golf resort in Doonbeg. Our guide and bus driver made the trip very restful and educational. When one of the guests fell and hurt her arm they were quick to arrange medical attention for her. I had just enough free time to do exploring and shopping.
Most Memorable Moment:
The visit to Malana View Dairy farm in Ballydonahue. This brought back memories of my dad who recited poems frequently. Also the Gran Post Office where the Easter Uprising took place in 1916.
